Our Process
Highly Experienced Consultants. RSG has intentionally remained a small, exclusive consultancy. A core founding principle of the firm has been to dedicate only senior, highly experienced professionals to every client assignment. We believe this allows RSG to provide a higher quality return to our clients on their consulting investment.
Understanding the Study Context. RSG believes that successful implementation of any study begins with a full understanding of each client: the current organization, budget, service objectives, functional accountabilities, staffing arrangements, pay practices, human resources policies, guidelines and rules and labor agreements , all of which represent a study’s context and impact successful outcomes. Customized Methodologies. A core RSG belief is that an approach and solution may work well in one organization but not be an effective fit in another. RSG designs each project to meet the needs and expectations of that individual client. We apply accepted professional principles to our work but customize their application to ensure that solutions can be implemented successfully in the client’s workplace and organizational environment. |
We view our principal responsibility as helping each client to select the approach which best serves the needs of that enterprise. RSG will document study methodology, findings and final recommendations for each phase into a final study report.
Effective Communication. A successful study depends on effective communication – between client management and employees and between client representatives and RSG. Our consultants will work closely with senior management to define expectations for the project and agree on what success will look like at the study’s conclusion. We will agree on a detailed project schedule/timeline, ongoing communication requirements and tasks/techniques/forums for managing the project and responding to any unanticipated challenges along the way. At the conclusion of each engagement, RSG ensures the client has the tools, understanding and documentation necessary to administer and effectively maintain the work into the future. |
